Technical Panel Application Is Open for Size-Up and Search & Rescue

The application period will be open until February 8th, 2019. FSRI will notify selected applicants by February 28th, 2019.

FSRI is looking for highly-motivated fire service professionals to participate in our residential size-up and search & rescue research project. Ideal candidates will be ready to share their knowledge and experience while keeping an open mind toward their fellow panel members. For more information on the project checkout: Study of Fire Service Residential Home Size-up and Search & Rescue Operations Applicants will be chosen based on the following application as a representative cross section of the U.S. fire service. What is expected of those selected?

The project requires at least 3 trips for in person meetings; an Introductory Planning Meeting, Witnessing of Experiment(s), and a Summary Meeting. UL FSRI will cover all travel expenses associated with these trips. We are not able to cover salary expenses for missed time as a result of attending the meetings. Permission to participate from your fire departments management is not required but we highly encourage it.
